1. A key frame is used in both animation and film editing. It is used to define the starting and ending points of any transitions. It is called a key frame because there position in time is measured in frames on a strip of film.

2. In order to set a key frame, you must first go into effects and choose the property you would like to key E.G. audio, position the time line cursor to the section you would like to change, you then need to click key frame option provided.

3. Everything can be set with a key frame.
