Quest# 1 What is a keyframe and why is it important?

A keyframe defines the starting and ending points of any effect, video clip, or PIP image added to a video clip. They are called "frames" because their position in time is measured in frames. A sequence of keyframes defines what your audience will see. The position of each keyframe defines the timing of the movement. Its important because Keyframing allows you to do so many fantastic things to your video clips. You can use keyframing to adjust lighting, change color, create transitions, and modify effects.

Quest#2 How do you set a keyframe?

To set the keyframe click on the Timeline panel to select the specific clip that your animations will appear in. From the clip's controls on the Timeline panel, click on the "Show Keyframes" button. Use the "Add/Remove" keyframes button to add additional keyframes to the clip as you move the elements that you are animating.

Quest#3 Which of the following can not be set with keyframes?

1) Opacity 2) Volume 3) Rotation 4) Contrast 5) Scale
Keyframing is a very flexible tool, it can manipulate all of the above effects within premiere.

1. What is a key frame and why is it important?

Keyframes are used to change the properties of a video or audio effect over time. Almost any effect can use keyframes; for example, volume, opacity, scale, position, colour balance, etc. Key frames are important as they allow for smooth transitions from beginning to end of a project. A keyframe also indicates where you add volume etc., and the great thing is once you create them they can be moved about on the timeline and changed.

2. How do you set a key frame?

- Firstly, you must select the desired clip u would like to animate Next, you would open the Effects Control Window. The right-hand side of the window is a miniature timeline which shows the selected clip,  with keyframes indicated by diamond icons. This view allows you to see and edit keyframes for all effects at once. After this, click the Toggle Animation icon to activate keyframes for an effect property. For Effect Controls panel choose the triangle to expand the effect property and display  value and velocity graphs and for  Timeline panel click the effect property from the effect menu next to the clip or track name.

Quest# 1 What is a key frame and why is it important?
Answer: A key frame is a mark you make on your timeline where you can save specified values for various elements; it also a cue for effects to begin and ending. (A key frame marks the point in time where you specify a value, such as spatial position, opacity, or audio volume) The key frame is important because it allows for smooth clear transitions, once you create them they can be moved about on the timeline and changed; they also can be copied and pasted, the fact that it saves time and stress makes complicated projects easy and it allows for change in property overtime.
Quest#2 How do you set a key frame?
Answer: An individual sets a key frame by:
1. Selecting a Timeline panel, select the clip that contains the effect you want to animate.
2. to add and adjust keyframes in a Timeline panel, make keyframes visible for the video or audio track.
3. In the Effect Controls panel, click the triangle to expand the effect that you want to add keyframes to, and then click the Toggle Animation icon to activate keyframes for an effect property.
For Effect Controls panel Click the triangle to expand the effect property and display its Value and Velocity graphs.
For Timeline panel Choose the effect property from the effect menu next to the clip or track name.
4. Move the current-time indicator to the point in time where you want to add a keyframe.
Quest#4 Which of the following can not be set with key frames?
1) Opacity 2) Volume 3) Rotation 4) Contrast 5) Scale
Answer: All the above mention can be set with key frames because almost any effect can be set on a key frame.

Quiz3

QUESTION #1
What is a key frame and why is it important?

ANSWER
Key framing can be referred to as the process of assigning a specific parameter value to an object at a specific point in time. For example, you might want a clip to be scaled to fill the screen exactly five seconds into your project. I found that a key frame is very important due to the fact that when you set more than one key frames, motion generates the in-between frames, resulting in a smooth change of that parameter over time. This is called interpolation. For example, if you want a title to change from purple to yellow over time, you would set two keyframes at two different points in time. The first one would define the text’s color as purple, and the second keyframe would set the color to yellow. Motion automatically makes the frames between those points change smoothly from purple to yellow.

QUESTION#2
How do you set a key frame ?

ANSWER
The basic idea is to create more than one key frames, then set the desired effect values at each keyframe. Premiere will create a gradual change in values between keyframes (this is known as interpolation). For example, you could create a keyframe where the volume is -20dB and another keyframe 5 seconds later where the volume is 0dB. Premiere will interpolate this to create a smooth five-second volume increase. There are two ways to view and work with key frames: In the Timeline and in the Effect Controls window. Key frames can be displayed in the timeline when a video track is expanded- a line is shown with small diamonds marking the key frames.I found this to be a relatively easy, intuitive way to view and manipulate key frames. However, key frames can only be shown for one effect at a time and control is not as precise as using the Effects Control window. Therefore, For full control over key frames, select the clip in the Timeline and open the Effects Control window. The right-hand side of the window is a miniature timeline, just for the selected clip, which shows key frames as diamond icons as well. I found it difficult to get use to but it allows you to see key frames for all effects at once and provides excellent control.

QUESTION#4
Which of the following cannot be set with key frames?
1) Opacity 2) Volume 3) Rotation 4) Contrast 5) Scale

ANSWER
Almost any effect can be set with key frames therefore, all the above effects can be set with key frames.

QUESTION#5
What is the band that is used to control volume on an audio clip called?

ANSWER
You can monitor audio levels for clips in a Timeline panel. If the Audio Master Meters panel is not open, select Window then Audio Master Meter,Select the Program Monitor or a Timeline panel and do one of the following: Press Space or in the Program Monitor, click the Play Stop Toggle (Space) button . The Audio Master Meters panel displays the audio level for the Timeline.
QUESTION #6
What is the keystroke used to set key frames.?

ANSWER
CTRL K

QUESTION#7
What two panels can you use to set key frames ?

ANSWER
The two panels one can use to set key frames are the timeline or the effects control window.
